About Our Point of Difference

Put simply, its our ‘Best in Class’ network of professionals & our drive to instil the concept of ‘Shared Value’ back into the market.  After extensive careers in Tier 1 construction we know what makes the difference between a high performing project and one riddled with latent problems and inefficient services that the building owner will ultimately pay for.

Our view is the concept of ‘Shared Value’ has been eroded over time, so we draw upon our network of best in class professionals to ensure real world outcomes that make a difference for owners, occupants and practitioners.

Our Reconciliation Action Plan

The launch of Innovo’s Reconciliation Action Plan recognises that we want to do more to build a just, equitable and reconciled Australia.

While we’ve championed the causes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our operations since inception, we adopted our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in 2026.

Our RAP sets out our goals to contribute to reconciliation, focusing on four key pillars: Relationships, Respect, Opportunities and Governance.

Our RAP commitments focus on:

  • Relationships – building strong and long-lasting relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations and communities.
  • Respect – deepening respect for, and raising cultural awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and achievements.
  • Opportunities – broadening social and economic opportunities through employment, including long-term career pathways and training, and increased participation in our supply chain.
  • Governance – building accountability & transparency, and learnings both internally and externally.

Our RAP deliverables aim to create positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, and support our progress towards achieving our reconciliation vision.

How can Advisory help with my buildings problems?

Innovo’s Advisory is founded on 25 years of Tier 1 Construction, Management & Commissioning experieicne to provide expert guidance on cost, buildability, risk, resilience and performance. It includes system design, efficiency assessments, compliance & accessibility reviews, along with  troubleshooting and audits. Advisory helps clients reduce energy consumption, improve indoor air quality, and ensure regulatory compliance. The service covers new installations, existing plant upgrades, and ongoing maintenance strategies.

Innovo’s Advisory service assesses existing systems to identify energy-saving opportunities and recommends high-efficiency equipment, smart control strategoes, and optimised maintenance protocols to reduce waste. Implementing variable-speed drives, high efficiency motors, demand-controlled ventilation, and proper insulation can significantly lower energy consumption and costs.

HVAC systems must comply with Constuction Codes, Section J Energy efficiency standards, and local building regulations etc. In Australia, this includes the NCC, AS/NZS 1668.1&2 (Ventilation), AS/NZS 1530.4 (Fire-resistance test of elements of construction) and AS 1851 (Maintenance of Fire and Mechanical Services) along with many others.

Systems may also be obliged to achieve NABERS, LEED, WELL, and Green Star sustainability certifications. Compliance helps improves energy performance, attracts tenants and ensures occupant comfort and safety.  Innovo’s professional Advisory service helps navigate these complex regulatory requirements.
