Innovo is a leading Australian Air Conditioning and Mechanical services contractor delivering Design & Construct and CO solutions across new builds, refurbishments and major plant upgrades. We work on projects where access is tight, programmes are compressed, and the building can’t simply “go offline” to get the work done with certainty. We approach each job with a cost conscious and constructability mindset from day one—reviewing design intent, coordinating interfaces early, and resolving clashes before they become site problems. That includes creating accurate shop-drawing packages, coordinating stakeholder, consultants and specialist trades, and sequencing works to align with program pathways and critical operations. 

 We’ve accumulated a wealth of experience in delivering critical environments and complex buildings where reliability, redundancy and maintainability matter, and where the smallest coordination miss can create downstream operational issues.

Client handover is treated as part of the build, not an afterthought. We coordinate pre-commissioning, defect closure and documentation so the final outcome is clear for Facilities and end-user teams: As-builts that reflect what’s installed, O&M manuals that can be used, and training that leaves operators confident. Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) & design development

We get involved early to de-risk the mechanical scope: confirm performance requirements, resolve buildability issues, lock in plantroom layouts, and align interfaces (BMS, electrical, fire, hydraulics). Early clarity prevents late redesign, procurement shocks, and site rework.

Preconstruction, procurement & planning

We drive the practical plan: equipment selections, long-lead strategy, staging/shutdown planning (including occupied sites), prefabrication opportunities, cranage and access, and clear scope boundaries across trades. The goal is predictable delivery and fewer surprise

Installation & coordination

We keep the mechanical package moving on site through structured coordination, hold-point discipline, and proactive issue resolution. We focus heavily on the details that matter later — valve sets, access clearances, drainage falls, support spacing, insulation integrity, and plant installation quality.

Quality assurance & Quality Outcomes

We implement a QA process so installation quality is visible and verifiable — ITPs, inspection records, defect registers, NCR management and close-out. This reduces post-PC defect drag and protects system reliability.

Testing, balancing & handover

We coordinate TAB completion and verify the mechanical systems are stable and controllable under real operating conditions. Handover is treated as a deliverable, not an afterthought: accurate as-builts, O&M manuals, setpoints/operating parameters, training coordination, and a clear defects close-out plan.

DLP & Building Tuning

Once the building is operating, we can support early-life tuning and performance optimisation — helping stabilise comfort, energy outcomes, and seasonal changeover behaviour.
